Rowena was amused by her friend's drunken ramblings and was glad to see she was finally just about ready to rest and sleep it off. She would be back to being a busy bee in the morning and she deserved a deep, restful sleep before then. This was a decade coming for her it seemed like. She squeezed Helga's hand in return with a warm smile reserved for only her best of friends.
"Yes, tis truly happening but if it weren't for the three of you it would have never come to pass, no matter how genius of an idea it was," she said before letting her friend go so she could properly get into bed.
When Helga returned to the subject of Salazar, Rowena clicked her tongue and shook her head, still amused. "Oh, Salazar will be fine with you by the morn, silly one," she said endearingly. "He does not like being wrong or overruled. What strong-minded man does really? And I think he'd get along better with a pet snake than a dog, to be honest. But you might be on to something in that he needs a good woman to challenge him in ways we can't. Maybe letting go of some of that pent-up frustration would do him some good. Tis almost a shame he doesn't visit a brothel from time to time to exercise some of his unused energy."
"Alas, questions for another time dear one," she said before leaning over and pulling the covers up over her best friend to ensure she was secure in bed and cozy. "Sleep now and I'll see you in the morn." Once she was sure Helga's eyes were closed and her breathing evened out, Rowena slipped out of the woman's room and headed to her own. After taking her own share of the potion she soon disrobed and tucked herself into bed as well.
