Helga hesitated for a moment before she took the potion from Rowena. Not that she didn't trust her close friend to give her a prank potion but it took her arm just a bit longer to move up and take it once it was held out for her. Every inch was beginning to feel like it was slowly being weighed down by sandbag making it hard to do much despite her insides not feeling the same effect and wanting to move around like a spring chicken in the summer sun. Odd bit of conflicting feelings but she was too tired and too drunk to really notice it. Just the odd feeling her body moved physically slower then she thought it did.
After taking the potion, she accepted the help with undressing from her clothes. There was a small delay when she thought to double check the pockets of both her apron and her dress to make sure her children hadn't stowed away in them to be with her. She was sure she had felt something move but after Rowena checked for the fourth time Helga was convinced they weren't there after all but could possibly still be hidden away in her apron in the kitchens and made a note to double check in the morning as she didn't want to disturb them if they were fast asleep. The elves would look in on them if they were there.
Shuffling to her bed, Helga set down her knitted shawl on a corner of the headboard of her four poster bed. Come morning it would be chilly and she had by now gotten into the habit drunk or sober to make sure it was there when she would need it in the morning. She stumbled a bit at first, her hands not quite gripping the blankets tightly enough but with Rowena appearing beside her they managed to pull down the blankets enough for her to crawl into bed.
Everything in her was beginning to shut down, exhaustion and now the potion making her leaning towards laying her head down and drifting off to most likely the deepest sleep she would have in the last week or two. Only she turned to her best friend instead of crawling into bed, her hand reaching out to take one of hers loosely and she smiled warmly. "It's finally happening. All the hard work and time spent in making this into a real thing has come to light. We have a magical school now, and students here to learn from all of us! Its finally happening and we have you and your brilliant mind to thank for coming up with the idea and getting us all together." Helga said and gave her best friend's hand a squeeze. Releasing it she slowly sunk down to sit on the edge of her bed again, doing what she could to hold in a yawn wanting to slip free.
"I hope Salazar isn't mad at me in the morning" She began but paused as the yawn managed to get free and she covered her mouth until it had finished. "I like my friends to be happy and he is so often more grumpy or serious than happy these days. We should find him a wife or does he have one already? Well maybe a pet then, they are more easily found and tend to bring joy no matter what rough day a person has had. But what kind of pet is the question and it would need to be one that is safe to have around the students and won't pick fights with any of the other animals." Helga continued in a mild ramble, her words slightly slurring again as her tired state tried to silence her but hadn't managed to do very well. She chuckled as she shifted and lay down on her bed, her eyes struggling to stay open as she smiled. "I don't think he is much of a dog person but it would be rather funny if he was and his dog and Godrics got together. It would make them co grandpa's to their puppies and just the sight of the two of them looking after a cluster of puppies seems like a silly scene indeed."
